Some chilis making it

I have 3 chili padi (bird eye) plants. All 3 have yellowing leaves, 2 worse off than the 3rd. Looks like a nutrient deficiency of some sort, according to the forums. The healthier one had a few chilis, and now I just spotted one on the weaker plants.

31 Jan 2021 update: just noticed a couple of older leaves that are not wrinkly or yellow. That's nice to see.

i think i found the name of one of our misc medical plants

It's the one which grows more plants from the tips of its leaves.

It's called Kalanchoe Pinnata.

Supposed to help those with dengue fever too..at least according to this ad.

making a post from scrap wood

This is a scrap piece I have that is a bit warped.

Used a jigsaw (invest in a good one) to cut a point.
That pointy end makes it easy to hammer the wood on the opposite end, to drive it into the ground. Before doing that I applied 2 coats of this clear paint, something like this. I even added a rough layer to the bottom one inch of my outdoor furniture.
I raised 3 of the 4 legs with bricks and painted the free 4th.

a better picture of our lunch from prunings

I separated the different varieties of veggie prunings today...

...which will go towards our lunch greens

Pruning alone makes up our lunch veggies quite often

I didnt harvest anything today. These are just the ones that needed to be cut for various reasons...

...insect damage, growing onto other plants, weather damage, redirecting growth.

Harvesting compost

Harvested compost from all the bins. First was to separate the compost from the stuff that was yet to decompose. Only the bottom most layer was sort of ready to use.

The wire mesh bin that was under the awning was completely dried out.
This was halfway thru the process. The compost in the box, and the still breaking down stuff piled next to it.
I was too tired and dirty to take a pic at the end. Just to let u know, I managed to fill the box with useable compost. the rest got placed back into the bins. Two and a half out of the five were refilled.
All neatly done.
Half of the plastic in this bin was from the compost!!
Including this scissors which I lost...

Utilise more of the fence

Only one of the Malabar spinach plants made it to maturity. I am guiding it around the fence so as to get a larger plant. Previously I let it climb straight up the fence and cropped off the top.

Nice perspective

Nice view of most of our garden...

Cant see the banana tree & compost bins which are to the right. It is blocked by the awning. Need to borrow someone's drone cam.
