fishy business

 Added fish innards to the garden today. Dug holes maybe 8-10 inches deep, chucked in the fish,

then some paper,

followed by coco coir,

and a layer of weeds from that area.

And then covered it back up. Accidentally took a selfie too :)

clay to reduce erosion

 I have just started adding any clay that I dig up to the edges of the veggie bed, just as an added barrier to keep the good soil in.

Fingers crossed they ripen and stay on the tree, especially with these little devils around...

Cleaning filter

 There is a small powerhead in the pond, mainly for some water movement. I clean the filter intake every 4 or 5 days. Once every couple of weeks I take it all apart and give it a scrub with a toothbrush.

Chili Padi sprouted

I chucked 2 or 3 chili padis in some coconut coir. Kept it dark and damp. Today one chili sprouted.

I've moved the pot to an area with some indirect light. A close up...

I dunno how I am going to separate them. Maybe I will just plant the lot as is.
