such a unique looking corn

 I never saw the corn being sowed, coz it came as a young plat from my neighbour. Imagine my surprise when I saw this...

A quick search made my smile even wider...

The giant roots have sprouted smaller ones.

Now to pray lots of pollinating insects pay a visit.

The tallest corn plant of the 4 that I growing fell down overnight. 

I secured it upright but it looks bent a few inches from the base of the stem.

 Attempting corn for the first time. I do know that the more plants there are, the better chance of the corn being pollinated. I have 4. 

They are a couple of weeks old.
